We really enjoy this local brewery with a great patio space, board games (Alex taught Eli Backgammon there), shuffleboard, and tasty food & beer!

A beautiful & free museum very close to the Country Club Plaza. We suggest walking through the front lawn and doing the glass maze. The food court is beautiful as well.

A 5 minute walk from the Nelson, the Kemper hosts an amazing Kansas City gem, Café Sebastienne--we HIGHLY recommend catching brunch/lunch. While the art does come in second for us, the current featured exhibition is Julie Blackmon, a favorite local artist of ours.

One of our favorite KC BBQ joints because of its great food, location in Historic Westport, and its outdoor area that has bocce, cornhole, & picnic tables. We love the cornbread and Triple Crown & Burnt Heaven sandwich's! If you're in the Westport area, you'll have plenty of options for more drinks and fun!

Built in 1914, this train station is massive with beautiful architecture and great amenities. We love to walk around and enjoy the sights and afterwards recommend stopping into the most beautiful bar in Kansas City--Pierponts. The kiddos will also love Science City!
